Two ISS Campuses
“My ability to feel comfortable and contribute in new and seemingly adverse situations stems from the relationships I built and the experiences I was exposed to at ISS” ISS Class of 2011
The city of Stuttgart, population around 600,000, lies at the heart of a wider region with a population of 2.7 million people from 170 different countries. To better serve this wider region, from Heilbronn to Tübingen/Reutlingen and from Pforzheim to Schwäbisch Gmünd, we operate two campuses. Both campuses comprise the International School of Stuttgart with aligned programs but individual characteristics that retain the spirit and history of both locations.
Our largest campus is situated in Stuttgart Degerloch, a leafy suburb on the southwestern edge of Stuttgart, close to the airport and to the motorway system that links the region. It is easily accessible by public transport and by road. The primary language of instruction is English and the campus serves students from 3 years old to 18 years old, Early Years through 12th grade.
Our satellite campus is situated about 20 km from the Degerloch campus in the town of Sindelfingen. It serves students from 3 years old to 16, Early Years through 10th grade and features a dual language (German/English) curriculum. Students transfer to the Degerloch Campus for the Diploma Years classes (11th and 12th grade).
