Hosting the annual AGIS Primary Curriculum Coordinator's meeting!
ISS was pleased to host the annual AGIS Primary Curriculum Coordinator's meeting. The meeting is an opportunity for Primary Curriculum Coordinators from International Schools all over Germany to meet and share challenges, best practices and current developments in relation to educational curriculum design, teaching and learning. Alexander Whitaker, the ISS Lower School Assistant Principal and PYP Coordinator who organised the event said, "We had a thoroughly productive day, with an opportunity for our visiting colleagues from 12 German International Schools to tour our school and see learning in action at ISS, as well as networking and sharing examples of how we organise and support our curriculum within each of our own school contexts. Many of the visitors commented on how impressed they were with the calm, focused and differentiated way that learning was happening in our classrooms and outside learning spaces, with a particular emphasis on how we use collaboration amongst all our teachers and learning assistants to meet the needs of our students."
