Japanese students participated in #ArtForPeaceInUkraine during Home and Family Language class. After talking about what “peace” means to them, they made Origami cranes, which represents peace in Japan, with Ukrainian colors. Our partnership with the Stuttgart Opera and their outreach organization JOiN had Grades 1 and 2 traveling to JOiN’s (Junge Oper im Nord / Young Opera in the North) theatre to enjoy a finger puppet making workshop and interactive experience for the performance of a House for the Mouse / Ein Haus fur die Maus.
There is an immediate need to support the Ukrainian refugees currently in a quarantine center in Stuttgart.
