International School of Stuttgart e.V. supporting school projects in Zimbabwe

Students from Grades 6 and 7 volunteered to give up their lunchtimes to carve pumpkins and make traditional Jac ’o Lanterns for their Service as Action project. These carved pumpkins will be displayed outside the main entrance of the Degerloch Campus for the ISS Community to bid on, and the money raised will be used to support school projects in Zimbabwe.

In previous years, the money students have raised has helped to buy a weather station for science work, new magnetic whiteboards to replace the pitted chalkboards and a printer/copier.
