An Adventurous Journey

ISS’ first Duke Gold group of the pandemic set out for the Pfalzwald area early last weekend. The students, following a route planned by the group in June, walked up to 20km a day along meandering paths, through woodland and up steep ascents! They made sure to pack appropriately for their adventurous journey and also contributed to a Gold group scrapbook inspired by their surroundings during these four days and three nights. Ms Wilke as the assessor and Ms Boulter as the supervisor checked in with the students daily and were very impressed with the students’ positive attitude, collaboration, problem-solving and communication kills.
