Our Adopted Forest

Our school highly prizes students engaging with the world around them as much as possible. Class 3/4K have taken this to heart, and have adopted a local forest, easily reachable from our Sindelfingen Campus.

We are visiting ‘our’ forest once (or more) per season, observing changes in plant life, bird life, and much, much more! Our early-spring visit allowed us to find immense amounts of frogspawn (some looking distinctly tadpole-y) in forest pools, trees with leaf buds & blossom, birds carrying nesting materials, insect life becoming more visible after the winter, and that’s just a snapshot.
